Broiled/Grilled Pork Steaks/Chops

I had some customers come into the greenhouse one day and ask me if I made a Jamaican Jerk rub. I never had, but found it an intriguing task. What I didn’t know is this new blend, Jamaica Me Krazy, would become one of my favorites. I have used this on steaks, chops and even in potato dishes. This is best if you let the chops marinade for 24 hours.

Ingredients:

  • 2 TBSP Lucy’s Jamaica Me Krazy
  • Spice Sea Salt and Fresh Ground Pepper to taste
  • ½ cup dry red wine
  • 3 TBSP brown sugar
  • 1 tsp Garlic Granules
  • 3-5 pork steaks / chops

Instructions:

Mix all ingredients together and marinade steaks or chops for a minimum of 6 hours on both sides (over night is best). Grill or broil until finished. The flavor will be a little spicy-sweet. Delicious served with steamed broccoli, Swiss chard or baked winter squash and a fresh tossed salad.
