(Foeniculum vulgare) Fennel is a member of the carrot family. Fennel is licorice flavored and enhances fish and vegetable dishes.
Has been known to work as an appetite suppressant and an eye wash. Helps with kidneys, liver, and spleen functioning and can clear the lungs. Relieves abdominal pain, colon disorders, gas, and gastrointestinal tract spasms. Also can aid acid stomach and good after chemotherapy and/or radiation treatments for cancer.
