Description
(Anethum graveoleus) Add to soups, potato salads, cream cheese, eggs, salmon and grilled meats. Great on all vegetables. It is also thought to be good for those watching their salt intake because it is rich in mineral salts.
If you grow it yourself, use one flower head per jar when making pickled gherkins, cucumbers or cauliflower for a stronger flavor than dill leaves but fresher than seeds.
There are reports that it helps stimulate the milk of nursing mothers.
