Asian Pork Chops with Mint

This is a new twist on pork chops and one your family will love at the table, and one you will love in the kitchen for its simple preparation. Good served with pasta and Dilled Yellow Squash.

Ingredients:

¼ cup molasses
1/3 cup fresh spearmint leaves, well chopped (or ¼ cup dried)
3 TBSP soy sauce
¼ cup pineapple juice
1 TBSP fresh ginger or ½ TBSP dried
2 Cloves garlic
2 TBSP vegetable oil
6 medium thick pork chops

Instructions:

In a 1 gallon sealable plastic bag mix all ingredients together except pork chops. Shake well to mix. Add pork chops and marinate in the refrigerator for 6-8 hours. Remove pork chops from the marinade and grill to sear on both sides. Lower heat and continue cooking slowly turning often until done, approximately 20 minutes. You can also do this in the house on the broiler.
